Based in Esbjerg, TotalEnergies Denmark is the largest oil and gas operator in the Danish North Sea with over 1,800 employees and managing 85% of the national oil production and 97% of the national gas production.

In 2018 Total S.A. acquired all of Maersk’s oil and gas activities, Maersk having been a Credosoft client since 2015 and initially using Credo V4.

The upgrade to Credo8 is now complete with all systems in Production at the end of Qu2.

There followed a period of remediation and hyper-care support window.

With initial data migration, installation and configuration of the core software (Credo 8) complete, work continues on the RBI module; this includes the formatting, checking and importing of data, server deployment and any required additional configuration.

Finally, training will be provided by an RBI specialist through a series of workshops scheduled for early in 2023.

Based in Sines approximately 150 km south of Lisbon, this plant is primarily concerned with the production of PTA, a raw material used in the production of high performance multi-purpose plastics.

Air Products develops, engineers, builds, owns and operates some of the world’s largest industrial gas projects, including gasification projects that sustainably convert abundant natural resources into syngas for the production of high-value power, fuels and chemicals.

With over 750 production facilities in more than 50 countries this is a significant project for Credosoft.

With work beginning in June 2022, and in addition to the migration of existing data, there will be development of new functionality specifically for Air Products.

The project deliverables include the building of interfaces for SAP and OpenText and implementation of additional modules; RBA, Damage Modeller, Workflow, Dashboards and RBI.

As with many organisations, user experience is key and with this in mind, the ability for Credo to integrate with Single Sign-On (SSO) is a key deliverable.

Air Products also chose to implement Credo8 as a software as a service (SaaS). This solution removes the need for any installation and maintenance of the Credo software. Users simply access the application via the internet, freeing themselves from complex software and hardware management.

The project is due to be completed in October this year (2022).

A merger in 1999 with Elf Aquitaine and Petrofina resulted in the company becoming the 4th oil major and a rebrand in 2019 saw Total become TotalEnergies.
The scope of the upgrade covers 17 sites, including 2 joint ventures, across Europe.

Currently configured as individual sites with multiple data sources, the project will result in a single source with the data hosted on a Cloud Service.

Commencing in 2021, and as well as the migration of existing data, there is a requirement for the development of bespoke interfaces; SAP integration and the integration of C8 with TotalEnergies’ custom RBI interface, Synergi.

In addition, Credosoft is tasked with the development of numerous functions which are unique to the organisation.

Key deliverables also include the implementation of Dashboards, Report Studio and Workflow modules.

Completion date is set for early 2023.

A Credosoft client for 15 years, Bayer CropScience are in the process of upgrading from Credo4 to Credo8 at their site in Luling, Louisiana.

The current Credo 4 Oracle database was exported to Credo 8 SQL Server format.

The new Credo 8 system, while providing many new features, also retains the existing tools previously used in Credo 4 at the client’s request.

In addition, the Credosoft team developed a new feature  which allows for automatic Exception management which is currently done manually and is a time-consuming process.

Bayer has also chosen to implement the Credo Dashboards module in which a pre-configured view, presenting as a spreadsheet, is selected and can be exported to Excel or downloaded as a PDF.

The Dashboards can also be customised to show charts of a specific dataset.
